Jacqui Williamson

I’ve been a full-time REALTOR® with Century 21 Bamber Realty Ltd. for more than 19 years, helping people buy and sell homes throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.

Before real estate, there were many years of sales, marketing and running businesses — more than 35 years altogether. Which means I’ve spent a very long time working with people, solving problems, negotiating, explaining things, and listening and caring.  Real estate has never felt like it is only about houses.

People move for all sorts of reasons. They are buying their first home, selling the house where they raised their family, downsizing, relocating, separating, starting over, helping aging parents or simply deciding it is time for something different.

The house is part of it. The people are the bigger part.

Over the years, I’ve continued my education in areas that matter to the clients I work with. I was one of the first REALTORS® in Canada to earn the Canadian Certified Seniors Representative (CCSR) designation. I am also a Certified Condominium Specialist (CCS®) and a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE).

Those letters are useful, but what matters more is knowing how to use what I’ve learned.

I believe in being straightforward. I’ll tell you what I see, what I think matters, what I would be concerned about and what may not be worth worrying about at all. I believe in good information, strong negotiation and treating people kindly while still protecting my client’s interests.

After this many years, I’ve developed a trusted network of people I can call when something needs to be figured out. Home Inspectors. Lawyers. Mortgage brokers. Contractors. Painters. Organizers. Condo document reviewers.

My goal is not to make real estate sound effortless. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it most certainly is not.

My job is to help you understand what is happening, make good decisions and get from where you are now to whatever comes next.

This website is here to help with that too — property listings, market information, practical advice and the occasional observation about homes, people and change.

Because after nearly two decades in real estate, I’ve learned there is almost always more going on than the sign on the lawn.
